Dress-Up, and Peas

We went to a "Harvest Festival" (Halloween party) and the kids enjoyed it. Zane enjoyed throwing balls and Callie enjoyed dressing up. Jude enjoyed being held - it's one of his favorite past times. Callie went as a princess (she borrowed the dress from a friend and picked it out herself), and Zane's costume is quite obvious. Can you tell what Jude went as?
Zane really wanted to pull off the "peas" and play with them. I had to hold him back.

Here are the two brothers, like two peas in a pod themselves! Only, of course, not the same size...yet.
And here's Lil' Miss Dress-Up herself. Lately, she's been constantly asking for an excuse to dress up. I finally gave in one day. I forgot to photograph the shoes in, though! They were so slippery and she had such a difficult time walking in those things yet still insisted on wearing them. Callie sure is a girlie-girl, through and through. And her mama can't be more thrilled - since she's a girlie-girl herself ;)
Here she is playing dress-up with her friend Bailey (Bailey's wearing the shoes). They are sweet friends.
Lastly, here's a video of Jude making cute noises - enjoy!

A Family Visit and other October happenings

October was a busy month for us. Jeremy and the kids all got colds - it seems like they always last for at least a couple weeks over here. Anita's family came to visit for a week. Here are a few photos to show you what our October looked like.

Here we are high-strollin' on the walking street in our neighborhood. This is pretty much an everyday routine for us: strollin' to the playground. I try to take the kids out at least once a day so they don't get too stir-crazy and so we can enjoy some sunshine and "fresh" air.

Here's Jude smiling again. He already loves getting tickled.
Here's Jude having some tummy time. Callie came over to keep him company. They just had a grand ole time squealing (Callie), cooing (Jude) and smiling at each other. She absolutely adores him.
Zane loves looking out their bedroom window. We live on the 11th floor, and we have a great view of our city to the north and part of downtown. Also, there's a train that runs right past us too, and it comes about every hour during the day. The train is Zane's favorite. You have to wonder what else is going through his mind as he takes in the view.
Zane loves to "wear" hats. Well, he loves to put them on, take them off, and on, and off again. Here he is with wearing the bath visor "gangsta-style," as Jeremy and I call it. And yes, he put it on that way himself.
Here's Jude with "Gonggong and Popo," aka Anita's parents. They came for a week and met Jude for the first time. We had a sweet time together and the kids enjoyed spending time with them. I think Gonggong and Popo enjoyed it too.
We went to Jeremy's favorite park one day (it's one of the only ones in town where they actually let you walk on the grass) and spent the morning playing, tossing a football and frisbee around, and just enjoying each other's company. We brought a couple buckets of KFC fried chicken and enjoyed a nice lunch out there. We were blessed with the perfect weather for a picnic in the park. We had such a nice visit with Gonggong, Popo, and Uncle Ed. Hopefully they'll come visit again soon.
And to close, here's a photo of all 3 kiddos in their "jammies." It might just be my new favorite photo of the 3 of them.

September Recap

We've been pretty busy lately and are finally getting around to posting some more pics to show you what's been going on with us. In this post, we wanted to recap our September for you. Jude started holding his head up. Here's a photo of him doing just that. Way to go, Jude! Our little baby's growing up so fast (*tear*).
Jude has also started smiling - it's just adorable and it continues to melt my heart every time. He just loves studying faces and he'll smile back at anyone who pays him the least bit attention. Here's the first time we were able to catch his smile on camera.
Here's a fun photo of the kids' feet - can you guess whose are whose? (Hint: Jeremy's feet aren't in there.)Here's Callie sharing an inside joke with her bear and her doll. Or do you have a better explanation of what's going on here?
And here we are, feeding the geese at a nearby park. Callie loves to throw the bread to them, but Zane prefers to just watch and keep his distance. If they got "too close", he made sure to let us know!
To close this post, here's a video to show you the feeding of the ducks, in action.

That's it for now! Will post a recap on October soon.
