Christmas Day Videos

Merry Christmas, again! I have the videos ready now. Be sure to look at the still shots in the previous post. Enjoy your Christmas day...ours is done!

Christmas Day!

As promised, here are some pics and some footage from Christmas Day, which also happens to be the birthday of a little girl in our home. Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday, Callie!

After all, she is the birthday girl, so she does get a little more footage in this one. Here are the boys.

Sorry, the videos are uploading, so they're gonna be awhile. We have to go have Christmas dinner in a half hour, so I don't think they'll be done in time. I'll post them tonight. Love to all!

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas!

Tonight (our time) we just wanted to put up a quick post before we do another one tomorrow after some Christmas morning fun. Here is a picture of the tree, all ready to go for the morning.

And here is a video of our decorated apartment, all ready for the big day. Love and miss everyone!

Dress-Up, and Peas

We went to a "Harvest Festival" (Halloween party) and the kids enjoyed it. Zane enjoyed throwing balls and Callie enjoyed dressing up. Jude enjoyed being held - it's one of his favorite past times. Callie went as a princess (she borrowed the dress from a friend and picked it out herself), and Zane's costume is quite obvious. Can you tell what Jude went as?
Zane really wanted to pull off the "peas" and play with them. I had to hold him back.

Here are the two brothers, like two peas in a pod themselves! Only, of course, not the same size...yet.
And here's Lil' Miss Dress-Up herself. Lately, she's been constantly asking for an excuse to dress up. I finally gave in one day. I forgot to photograph the shoes in, though! They were so slippery and she had such a difficult time walking in those things yet still insisted on wearing them. Callie sure is a girlie-girl, through and through. And her mama can't be more thrilled - since she's a girlie-girl herself ;)
Here she is playing dress-up with her friend Bailey (Bailey's wearing the shoes). They are sweet friends.
Lastly, here's a video of Jude making cute noises - enjoy!

A Family Visit and other October happenings

October was a busy month for us. Jeremy and the kids all got colds - it seems like they always last for at least a couple weeks over here. Anita's family came to visit for a week. Here are a few photos to show you what our October looked like.

Here we are high-strollin' on the walking street in our neighborhood. This is pretty much an everyday routine for us: strollin' to the playground. I try to take the kids out at least once a day so they don't get too stir-crazy and so we can enjoy some sunshine and "fresh" air.

Here's Jude smiling again. He already loves getting tickled.
Here's Jude having some tummy time. Callie came over to keep him company. They just had a grand ole time squealing (Callie), cooing (Jude) and smiling at each other. She absolutely adores him.
Zane loves looking out their bedroom window. We live on the 11th floor, and we have a great view of our city to the north and part of downtown. Also, there's a train that runs right past us too, and it comes about every hour during the day. The train is Zane's favorite. You have to wonder what else is going through his mind as he takes in the view.
Zane loves to "wear" hats. Well, he loves to put them on, take them off, and on, and off again. Here he is with wearing the bath visor "gangsta-style," as Jeremy and I call it. And yes, he put it on that way himself.
Here's Jude with "Gonggong and Popo," aka Anita's parents. They came for a week and met Jude for the first time. We had a sweet time together and the kids enjoyed spending time with them. I think Gonggong and Popo enjoyed it too.
We went to Jeremy's favorite park one day (it's one of the only ones in town where they actually let you walk on the grass) and spent the morning playing, tossing a football and frisbee around, and just enjoying each other's company. We brought a couple buckets of KFC fried chicken and enjoyed a nice lunch out there. We were blessed with the perfect weather for a picnic in the park. We had such a nice visit with Gonggong, Popo, and Uncle Ed. Hopefully they'll come visit again soon.
And to close, here's a photo of all 3 kiddos in their "jammies." It might just be my new favorite photo of the 3 of them.

September Recap

We've been pretty busy lately and are finally getting around to posting some more pics to show you what's been going on with us. In this post, we wanted to recap our September for you. Jude started holding his head up. Here's a photo of him doing just that. Way to go, Jude! Our little baby's growing up so fast (*tear*).
Jude has also started smiling - it's just adorable and it continues to melt my heart every time. He just loves studying faces and he'll smile back at anyone who pays him the least bit attention. Here's the first time we were able to catch his smile on camera.
Here's a fun photo of the kids' feet - can you guess whose are whose? (Hint: Jeremy's feet aren't in there.)Here's Callie sharing an inside joke with her bear and her doll. Or do you have a better explanation of what's going on here?
And here we are, feeding the geese at a nearby park. Callie loves to throw the bread to them, but Zane prefers to just watch and keep his distance. If they got "too close", he made sure to let us know!
To close this post, here's a video to show you the feeding of the ducks, in action.

That's it for now! Will post a recap on October soon.

Our littlest little man...

We love our little 2-month old. Oh wait, tomorrow he turns 3 months. Time is flying, and we are super busy with these 3 under 3. Here are some pics of Jude from the second week on. Included are some of him with his cousin Isabel, who is only 4 weeks older than him. Anita's sister, Connie, came to Thailand with her husband and 6 week-old at the time. Enjoy!

Daddy & his boys:
Jude is being covered up here by the elephant's trunk.
Jude's first swim (he slept through it):

Here is a pic of all of us together: Connie, Paul, & Isabel, and the 5 of us:
Here's a closeup of Paul, Connie, and Isabel:
Here are some pics of Jude & Isabel together. Yes, we were able to get them in one stroller together, which worked out quite well for getting around.

Just for fun, here is a pic from one of the outings Jeremy did with Paul, Connie's husband. The two of them went out and did a zip line course in the jungle, which was really fun, and this was the scenery:
To close, here are a few vids of our littlest little man:

We recorded this one in the pitch dark, not for visual qualities but for the audio. Just listen.

Those other kids...

So it's been a while, but give us some credit. We have "3 under 3" now! Anyway, in honor of the other two kiddos aside from the unbelievably cute newborn, we thought we'd do a post about Callie & Zane. The following are all from our time in Thailand.

Callie being our little tropical princess a day or two before Jude was born.

C & Z looking at the new fountain that was installed where we were staying.

Zane & Daddy went out for Mexican food after haircuts. Boys' morning out!

Thailand is a place full of wildlife. This is from the MaeSa Elephant Camp, where we caught a show and played with the elephants. This is Callie watching them get a bath in the river just before the show.

We definitely saw giraffes and elephants at the Chiang Mai Zoo, but I don't remember seeing the giraffes riding any elephants. I guess kids come away with a different perspective.

This pic is horrible quality, but we were literally surrounded by water. The Chiang Mai Zoo has a great aquarium with one of those tunnels where you walk through and there's water above, beside and all around you. We saw sharks, stingrays, and all kinds of fish swim all around us in here. It felt like you were on the ocean floor.

Another part of the zoo experience was chocolate ice cream!

Next post will be about Jude. Here he is about a day or two old, and Callie already loves holding him.

Here are some videos to enjoy as well:
