January in Canada

In January we flew from Raleigh (J's parents') up to Edmonton, Alberta to visit Anita's family. It was a good visit, but pretty cold outside. The local temp ranged between -20 degrees C to +8 degrees C, but it could have been colder. They've had -50 there before, so we were glad to miss that. We stayed at Anita's parents' house, and during our second week there Anita's sister Connie came down with her husband from their home about 8 hours drive away and spent a week with us. As for fun things we did, you'll see in the pics below that we went to an indoor water park complete with slides and a wave pool, took Callie to Galaxyland, which is a big indoor amusement park with a kiddie section, and visited friends. Btw, both the water park and the amusement park are inside the shopping mall near Anita's parents' house, which is 6th largest mall in the world. Here are some pics and videos to enjoy.
