February "Firsts"

February has been full of several "firsts" for our sweet seven-month-old. Jude's first time swinging which he absolutely loved (oh how I wish we had swings where we live! our kids love it so much); sitting up on his own for the first time; and eating solid foods for the first time. Lately he's also been smiling an irresistibly cute smile that crinkles his nose. I'm so glad you're a part of our lives, our Little Surprise. We love and enjoy you so much.

Fun in the Sun

We are back home after a few weeks of enjoying some warmth, sunshine, beach, and relaxation in Thailand.
(By the way, we didn't really have a chance to upload any photos to our blog while we were there because we didn't have our computers with us.)
It was the first time to the beach for all 3 of the children. They actually weren't quite sure what to make of the water and the waves, and they were a little freaked out by the sea life (we saw little crabs all along the beach when the tide was out) but they sure loved playing in the sand - Jude even ate some. Zane enjoyed smashing sand castles and Callie loved collecting seashells. The resort that we stayed at had a great kiddie pool and Callie would have stayed in it 24/7 if we'd let her.
